From our workshops located in the heart of central Scotland we manufacture traditional sash and case windows incorporating traditional techniques with modern production.
Manufactured sash and case products:
Our sash and case windows are primarily manufactured from Douglas Fir which has been the timber of choice for sash and case windows for generations. It offers great durability, great strength to weight ratio all at a great price. Our Sash and Case windows are all manufactured with an Iroko cills.
Each sash and case window is factory spray finished with Remmers paint system in our dedicated spray shop.

We can offer a choice of specification for double glazed units e.g. argon filled, krypton filled, super spacer, toughen glass, acoustic, laminate glass etc.
We offer standard double glazing along with Heritage style double glazed units. The Heriatge style units have a reduced sightline which means they can be used on conservation project where true astragals are required for upgrading to double glazing from single. Sash and Case Scotland can also offer vacuum glass form. This style of glass is as thin as single glazing but has a U-Value equivalent to triple glazing. Do you have an aesthetically sensitive project? As we run all our own timber in our workshop we can easily copy original mouldings.
If we don’t have an exact match in stock for a small surcharge we can have matching profiles manufactured to match. Producing the style, form and look of the original sash and case windows, which is often a requirement in conservation areas. We are compliant with all listed building regulations and planning guidelines. We can provide sectional drawings for planning applications if required.
